BIOGRAPHY


Biographical Notes

Yves Lebreton was born in Paris on March 1946.
1962 - 1966, he studied music:
classical guitar, piano and cello.
1963 - 1966, he studied graphic arts
and painting.
1964 - 1969, he studied "corporeal mime"
at Etienne Decroux's school in Paris.
1969 - 1976, he founded and directed the "Studio 2" within the framework of the "Theatre Laboratory for the Art of the Actor" of Eugenio Barba in Denmark.
1976, he return to France where he founded the "Théàtre de l'Arbre" in Paris.
1981, he moved the "Théàtre de l'Arbre" to Italy where he created in a restored farmhouse in Tuscany "l'Albero - International Centre for Theatrical Formation, Research and Creation".
